For heavy, molten metal riffage, the Jim Root Jazzmaster® V4 delivers crushing detuned tone with a bold new look. We worked closely with the towering Slipknot guitarist to create a brutal-sounding signature Jazzmaster model that complements his heavy playing style—right down to its signature Daemonum™ open-coil EMG® active pickups, shred-worthy 12” radius fingerboard with jumbo frets, sparse control layout and more.

The Jim Root Jazzmaster II dispenses with frivolities such as a vibrato, rhythm circuit, tone control – only crucial essentials remain: a volume control, a 3-way switch and a hardtail bridge, making this guitar a single-purpose weapon of mass destruction. Featuring a mahogany slab body for crushing lows and mids, brilliant Polar White satin finish, maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard and pearloid block inlays, this devastating machine delivers brutal tone with a striking new look.

FEATURES

  • Mahogany body with contoured neck heel
  • Maple neck with “C”-shaped profile
  • 12” radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and block position inlays
  • EMG® Jim Root Signature Daemonum open-coil active humbucking pickups
  • Single control knob (volume) and three-way pickup switch
  • Hard-tail string-through-body bridge

MAHOGANY BODY WITH SATIN FINISH

Mahogany is a warm sounding wood with smooth mids and sweet highs. The satin finish is a stylish touch offering a muted matte appearance versus the glassy sheen of conventional gloss finishes.

JIM ROOT SIGNATURE EMG® ACTIVE HUMBUCKING PICKUPS

For a decidedly non-traditional design and configuration, the crushing tone of the Jim Root Jazzmaster is produced by a fearsome pair of EMG® Jim Root Signature Daemonum open-coil active humbucking pickups.

EBONY FINGERBOARD

The Jim Root Jazzmaster V4 offers a darkly alluring ebony fingerboard for smooth performance and a touch of elegance.

12" FINGERBOARD RADIUS

At 12", the fingerboard radius is substantially flatter than either a vintage-style 7.25" radius or a modern 9.5" radius, and is great for bending notes without fretting out.

LOCKING TUNERS

Locking tuners offer increased tuning stability and make changing strings substantially faster and easier than conventional tuners.

JUMBO FRETS

Jumbo frets are tall and wide, enabling more control for bending and vibrato.

- Your local "luthier" is not God. We have received -numerous- false claims by a customer's local "luthier" (aka Youtube specialist / self-proclaimed master of the universe) that a guitar has a bad neck set, has a warped neck, broken truss rod, looks at them funny, or is just generally not good to them because they want to sell them their own service work or guitar. These claims will not be considered valid and you'll have to take the issue up with the manufacturer that covers the instrument under their warranty policies and procedures. Once the instrument is inspected or evaluated by another "luthier", the instrument is considered altered and void of return. Period. No exceptions.

- All damages incurred during shipment will be the responsibility of the shipping company which delivered the item (USPS or UPS). A claim will be filed immediately and claim number confirmation issued to the recipient. The recipient will hold on to the damaged item and all of its packing contents / materials until the claim has been resolved in one of the following manners: the item is picked up by the shipping company for salvage and the recipient will then be reimbursed in full; the claim is rejected at which point we will seek further evidence to appeal and issue refund upon the case outcome; the shipping company advises us the damages are not their responsibility (at which point we will appeal and seek return of the damaged item for refund / replacement). Any attempt to return the item immediately and not follow these procedure voids any refund / return remedies. Please be advised that all of our outgoing packaging is high-definition video-recorded to avoid claims of damages occurring prior to shipment

- A restocking fee of 30% (or more) will be assessed if an item is not returned in its original sold condition. The return must include the original box, all factory paperwork / case candy, pickguard film, cables, tools, etc. and be un-warranted with the manufacturer. If the customer wishes to return an item they received because they do not like the item (i.e., sound, feel, look), the customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from and those costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

- Pre-Order and special order items may not be cancelled, returned, or refunded
- No returns on harmonicas, kazoos, or microphones.
- Layaways and Layaway payments are non-refundable
