A rock maple neck and ebony fingerboard deliver stellar fretting comfort enhanced by a Venetian cutaway for maxed out upper-fret access. Comfortable and sustainable

Taylor is a leading proponent of urban ash guitars; they harvest this wood primarily from old-growth trees that being removed for ecological or safety reasons in California. The 224ce LTD Deluxe’s top, back and sides are all made from urban ash, which is tonally quite similar to mahogany from Central America. Urban ash offers plenty of focus that emphasizes fundamental notes (with few overtones) and its sound readily adapts to different players and styles. The result is clear but stoic tone that adds more depth to the signature sparkle of a Taylor guitar. The 224ce LTD Deluxe also features a satin-finished hard rock maple neck complete with Taylor’s famous comfortable neck carve.

Expression System 2 electronics

With built-in ES2 electronics, the 224ce LTD Deluxe is ready for the stage! The ES2 system features a revolutionary segmented pickup located behind the bridge saddle; this pickup position delivers remarkably accurate and clear sound production that’s authentic to your playing. Each ES2 system features a handy master volume knob for fast level adjustments, in addition to a 2-band EQ for independent treble/bass adjustments to get the sound you need. Plus, the ES2 system also has a built-in phase switch, which offers essential feedback suppression whenever the system is active.

Items purchased from our store should ship out within 2 business days of receiving payment. UPS Ground, fully insured, will be used for shipping instruments and large items. Items over $350 will require a signature. Accessories and other small items will be shipped via USPS.

Most purchases leave our warehouse within 2 business-days of receipt of your order. Orders received on Friday, Saturday & Sunday will ship out Monday. (Our shipping department is closed on weekends & major US holidays.)

- Some of our items are shipped directly from the supplier. These items may require longer shipping times. Large orders, or orders which include items shipped directly from our suppliers, will arrive in multiple boxes.

- If you live within the continental US you will have the following options and associated shipping & handling costs at checkout:
